Our 42nd When Furballs Strike furbowl has been booked for a late summer date of August 27! The theme will be "Summer Safari" - get your camera gear ready to photograph some wild animals on an African adventure, and enjoy the many themed prizes in our Prize Raffle!

FURSUIT CHANGING/GROUP PHOTO

We have a dedicated room for fursuit changing/storage (behind the party room partition). Please be courteous to other attendees and only use this room if you need to, and try to space out usage so it doesn't overcrowd. There will also be a 10x10 pop-up canopy w/walls as additional changing space at the other end of the lanes.

The fursuit group photo is now AT THE BEGINNING before the lanes turn on for bowling, around 2pm! When setting up for the photo please let shorter fursuiters be in the front, and spread out side-to-side as much as possible since the photo is taken as a panoramic.

PRICING/REGISTRATION

$11 Base Reg - Bowling, shoe rental, 1 raffle ticket

$15 Sponsor Special - Bowling, shoe rental, 5 raffle tickets, 1 FurLife sticker decal

$20 SuperSponsor - Bowling, shoe rental, 15 raffle tickets, 1 FurLife Sticker Decal, extra Supersponsor (SS) raffle ticket to win special prizes, and the SS gift which will be a FurLife logo Keychain!

We have exactly 50 of these and they will go to the first 50 pre-registered Supersponsors only! If you want this special gift make sure you pre-reg as early as you can! If there are extras we'll give the rest away at-event while supplies last. At-event Supersponsors will get their choice of a FurLife pin or Fridge Magnet.

Each registration comes with 2 games of bowling, shoe rental plus raffle tickets.

Include in the Notes section your FurLife username or what name you want on the bowling score screen. For now we will go back to 4 bowlers per lane, unless a group bowling together requests 5.

IMPORTANT: If you would like to bowl in a group, please make sure ALL members pre-reg (put in the notes section who you want to bowl with) or check in together in-person.

If you pre-reg, there will be a separate, much faster-moving line for where you check in, pick up your raffle tickets and lane assignment. You may buy extra tickets at that time as well. Pre-Reg closes at NOON on August 26 (day before WFS).

Extra raffle tickets can be purchased during registration for $1 each, or 5 for $4. All raffle ticket sales go towards the prizes for the next meet, and the cost to keep our FurLife site running on Meetup. For on-site registration, Cash or card is accepted. For cards there is a .50 fee per registration through our secure payment processing system.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

11:30am - Party room opens
12:15 - Pre-Reg Check In opens
12:30 - At-event Registration opens
1:45 - Registration closes
2:00 - Fursuit Group Photo (usually in the middle of our assigned lanes, listen for announcement)
2:15 - Bowling starts
4:15 - Bowling ends, last call for ticket sales
4:30 - Awards & Prize Raffle
5:30 - Group Dinner starts in the Party Room

PRIZE RAFFLE

As always there will be a TON of amazing prizes for attendees to take home in our prize raffle which takes place after bowling ends (around 4:30). Mostly animal or furry-related, as well as some collectibles and nice gifts for your home.

We accept donations for prizes - they must be cleared by me before being donated, so PM me or comment below. Donators get 3 free raffle tickets per prize donated (at least $10 in value, in new/like new condition), up to 9 total.

FOOD

Kenmore Lanes has a full restaurant and bar for us to order from at our leisure. Please do not bring in any outside food or drink as this is against Kenmore's house policies. Things like bottled water/sport drinks kept in the party room for our fursuiters is fine and encouraged.

AFTERWARDS

We will be giving out fun awards for high game in “classic” & “fursuit” divisions. We will also be running our prize raffle again with lots of fantastic gifts to give away for bowling with us at WFS! Additional tickets will be sold just prior to the raffle.

We should be finishing up around 5:15pm. Kenmore has been a great host for us in the past and was very kind in giving us this great deal, so please help clean up after yourselves. Let's try leave the place looking cleaner than when we came in!

WFS GROUP DINNER
