A meeting spot during Providence's Pride festival has been chosen. It shall be at Memorial Park located next to the Providence River on South Main Street, about a half-mile north of the pedestrian bridge. It is a green area with monuments for various war memorials and the Holocaust Memorial.
The date and time will be next Saturday, June 18, at 11 a.m.
Due to the crowds that day, where you park will be up to you. You just have to find your way to Memorial Park.
Also, fursuiting is not required, but if you are planning to wear a fursuit that day, there are no designated places for changing up, breaks or fursuit storage, and the weather is expected to be very warm that afternoon. It may be better to try fursuiting later in the day or in the evening.
The biggest concerns for that day is your health and safety. While it may be a friendly crowd, please watch out for each other while you're in public and be careful. Also, private businesses may not allow masked people in their stores, so don't be surprised if they reject fursuiters.
