Good afternoon, everyone! I hope those of you who attended Golden State Fur Con or another meet this past weekend had a fun time, and those of you who didn't still enjoyed whatever you were up to. Now, it's time to confirm the next meet for this group.

Our next event will take place at Six Flags Magic Mountain on Sunday, May 1st. Park hours that day are 10:30 A.M. to 8 P.M. Tickets can be purchased at www.sixflags.com for $70, but there may be other discount options out there...feel free to share. If you think you'll be visiting the park again before the end of 2022, I highly recommend purchasing a season pass as it is less than the cost of two one-day tickets.

Six Flags Magic Mountain is the thrill capital of the world and features 19 different roller coasters, several of which are often considered the best of their type. It is a very high adrenaline, thrill focused park that I would not recommend to those who are more timid or less able to handle intense thrill rides. However, for those who enjoy such things, few parks are a better place to have a good time being entertained by the laws of physics. Unfortunately, their new coaster for this year will not be ready in time for the meet, but we will be doing at least one (and possibly two) additional meet(s) at the park later in the year once that is up and running.

As a reminder, for the safety of all event attendees, vaccination is required to attend this meet (boosters are not mandatory). Masks are not required anywhere on Six Flags property and are not required at this event. For other attire, you are welcome to wear furry themed clothing and accessories (such as ears and small/medium sized tails) if you would like to do so, but fursuits or anything considered a costume is not permitted by park rules.

I hope to see as many of you as possible at this event. If you can't make it this time or this park isn't to your preferences, don't worry...there will be more events throughout the summer and fall.
