Furry Shenanigans: Easter Shenanigans at Beamish

We’re headed to the Beamish Open Air Museum in County Durham on Sunday, April 10th! Entry is £19.50 for an adult and this allows 1 year of entry into the museum, If you have a ticket from our last visit you just need to show it to the museum staff

We plan on entering the museum at 11 AM and will be waiting just after the entrance on the paved area for 30 minutes to allow for any late arrivals . We will be at the museum until 4:30 PM due to the museum closing at 5 PM and wanting to make the most of the venue. Water will be supplied in a limited amount for fursuiters but no other food or drink can be supplied, thankfully Beamish has plenty of locations to get anything you need.

The plan is to move as a group through the museum allowing for as many pictures possible for those in suits but also for food and drink if anyone needs it. Staff will likely have cars to store a limited amount of larger bags or items but we would recommend a small backpack with water, any food needed for dietary needs, personal storage and a plastic bag incase the weather turns miserable during the meet so you can protect your fursuit.

The meeting point will be outside the main entrance until 11AM and inside the entrance area until 11:30AM, we will update everyone on either the Facebook group or on the Telegram chat.

If the weather is looking like it might rain, we would recommend not bringing fursuits due to a lack of indoor space that is big enough for them. We will update all attendees if the meet is postponed or cancelled due to weather but we doubt this will be the case. In the event of the meet going ahead during poor weather, please bring waterproofs and umbrellas with you.

We require attendees to please take a lateral flow test within 2 hours of the meet and to provide proof of the negative result to a staff member either via email or Telegram. please bring a face covering for areas of the museum that require them unless you are exempt. We may(depending on future guidelines) require atendees to show their COVID Pass so please make sure you have yours ready.
