Anyone under the age of 16 who is attending any RI Furs meet must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who must stay in attendance at the meet at all times.
This announcement for the next furbowl will be minimal because the rules are pretty much the same as the last one. You may refer to the post about December's furbowl.
Whether or not this particular furbowl will be held is based upon the status of COVID-19 in Rhode Island and the expected spike of reported cases in January. We are two weeks out and everything seems fine and no one from the January furbowl has reported catching COVID-19 from being in attendance. This furbowl in February is still on.
The next Rhode Island Furbowl will be held on Saturday, February 5 at 7 p.m. at East Providence Lanes at 80 Newport Avenue, East Providence, RI. (MAP IS HERE) The cost is $2 to attend plus $13 to bowl ($15 total).
Due to the new indoor mask mandate in Rhode Island for venues with a capacity of over 250 people, masks are strongly recommended for all attendees of this furbowl and potentially future ones. The situation with the coronavirus pandemic is still ongoing, so things could change in the next few weeks. If you are wearing a fursuit, we recommend having some kind of mouth covering inside your head.
