OUR NEW LOCATION IS SECURED! OMGWTFBBQ 2024, July 27 & 28 2024, will be taking place at Hecksher State Park!
SATURDAY: Parking Field 3, an entire parking field with covered pavilion ALL TO OURSELVES!
SUNDAY: Parking Field 2 at the Taylor Pavillion! We’ll be sharing the field with a second picnic pavillion (only because Field 3 got sniped before I could reserve it), BUT it’s another huge covered pavillion with plenty of tables and space for nonsense!
There’s a swimming beach about 1/2 mile walk south along a trail from both fields, a nearby boat launch and fishing area, AND if you act fast there’s even campsites you can book to spend the entire weekend at the park!

The park is located at the eastern terminus of the Southern State Parkway (it turns into the Hecksher Parkway) in East Islip. The nearest train station is Great River.
