Hey folks! Hope it's been a wonderful November for you all and you had a great Thanksgiving (or just a lovely day if you don't celebrate that~)! It's almost December, so time to talk about ARF's furmeet for that month!

As is tradition, the furmeet in two weeks (December 10) will be a tour/parade of downtown! So get some comfy walking shoes and maybe get ready to bundle up some (it was pretty chilly last year - very good for those that like cold... and especially those with fur!) Lots of public interaction too, so let's be on our best behaviors, but definitely have fun! Here's the plan!

12PM-2PM - We'll be meeting up at the River Center Mall food court for some hanging out and dining to get energy for the mighty trek! PLEASE NOTE that the mall and restaurants surrounding it do not allow head coverings - if you put something on, they will ask you to remove it for security reasons. This includes fursuit heads, obviously!

2~2:30PM - We'll gather at the big Christmas tree nearby the mall for a group photo - it will be in an area that head coverings are a-ok, so get as gussied up as you like!

2:30PM - Time to walk! The plan for the parade is starting from the mall, we'll be heading west down the River Walk, going north past the shops and all until we get near the Hyatt Regency SA, then a small break. Continuing onward, we'll hit the Alamo for some more pictures (please mind the sidewalk in front of the Alamo - they also do not allow head coverings and you will be approached if you are wearing something while on said sidewalk), then we'll start heading south! We'll keep going south until we hit Hemisfair Park which is the last destination on the trip! More hanging out will occur, pictures can be taken, and people can chill and enjoy some company or go along and enjoy the rest of their Saturday.

It's our recommendation that you park near Hemisfair Park and walk to the mall in preparation for the journey so you don't have to make a long walk back to your vehicle near the mall once all is said and done!
