The Tartan Festival is hosted annually in Minden, LA. It is a celebration of Scottish culture and history. There will be food, vendors, live traditional Scottish and Celtic rock music, a herding demonstration, and dog shows. This is your chance to see super cute highland cows in person! There will also be sword fighting demonstrations courtesy of my SCA Shire running all day.
The parking is in a grass field off road and depending on the weather in the days leading up, it may be muddy. Get there early for good parking.
We will meet at 10am inside the gates, and generally hang out until anyone is ready to go home. Come out for music, food, and fun!
