Hi everyone! It's time for our last meetup of the year, Christmas in Julian! We wanted to wait until we had a better weather forecast to announce it, and as of the time of this posting, the weather looks good for this weekend. We WILL cancel if there is inclement weather, please keep an eye out for that announcement if it comes!
We plan on meeting up in front of the Julian Cider Mill at about 11:00 AM; we understand that it may take a little while to find parking, so we'll stick around 'til about 11:20 or so.
From there, we'll be making the rounds with the local shops; personal favorites are the Cider Mill itself, as well as the Candy Basket and the Julian Tea Cottage, which is located on a nearby side street. If you enjoy tea even just a little, we highly recommend checking them out! Then we'll meet back up at the Cider Mill at 12:30 to make arrangements for lunch, perhaps at the Miner's Diner.
After lunch, around 2:00 PM, we plan on getting in suit and taking photos with the locals for about an hour, then packing up and heading to the Julian Pie Company in Santa Ysabel (not the one in Julian itself, too small!) for some delicious pie and cinnamon ice cream (if they have it), then we part ways from there.
We will be having an after party at our place; be sure to ask Chance, Fenrir or Blake for details. Party goes from 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
