Fur the Craic: Tayto Park Meetup

The first in person meet of 2021 is finally going ahead this October Bank Holiday at Tayto Park! Come along and see friends old and new, but remember to keep your distance and wash your hands!

About the Venue

Tayto Park is a Theme Park & Zoo situated in the wonderful county of Meath. It boasts over one hundred different attractions, a diverse zoo and plenty of space to have a safe fun time!

When is the Meetup?

The meet up will take place on Monday, 25th of October at 12pm. Don’t worry if you are late or show up early, you are still more than welcome to join in. The start time is a goal rather than a strict target. The meet up will officially end at 5pm, the closing time of the park, but you are free to leave at any time.

I want to go! What do I need to do?
🐾 Organise transport
Figure out how you will be getting to and from the park. There are a lot of options available.
🐾 Book your tickets
Go to the Tayto Park website and book all the tickets you need for the 25th October. If under 16 you will also need to bring a parent/guardian. No pre-booked ticket means no entry!
🐾 RSVP to the Event
Go to our RSVP page for the event and fill in your details. www.furthecraic.net
🐾 Arrive on the day
We are aiming to gather inside the park at the entrance for 12pm. Don’t worry, you can’t miss a group of furries in the wild!

How much will it cost?

An all access ticket for Tayto Park costs €35 and allows access to all rides and areas of the park (subject to height and age restrictions). The ticket price list from the booking page is listed below for reference. Please see bookings.taytopark.ie for up to date information and pricing.

Note
All Tickets must be pre-booked. Tickets will not be available to purchase at the park
Bookings are non-refundable and handled by Tayto Park directly.
Anyone under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a paying adult as per park rules.
Junior Access ticket holders will not be permitted on some attractions.

How do I get there?

Dublin Area
If you are based in Dublin, Tayto Park and Bus Éireann have partnered up to provide a bus service from Dublin City Centre to Tayto Park. The journey takes around 45 minutes from Dublin City Centre.
Routes are available from Blanchardstown, Duleek, Drogheda, Ratoath, Ashbourne & Kentstown.
The Route 103 operates from Beresford place beside Liberty Hall

Outside Dublin
Due to transport links outside Dublin being nonexistent or poor, the best option is still to visit by car or you can also see what other options might be available via Google Maps. You can click here to navigate and explore options.



Don’t forget, getting to the park is only half the journey! Plan your return as well.

Can I wear my fursuit?

Tayto Park does not allow the wearing of fursuits or Cosplay within the park grounds. We will try and get a group photo in the car park afterwards if it’s quiet so there may be a brief opportunity to suit.
Is there a schedule for the meet?

A schedule for the event is currently being developed and will be released soon.
Is there a point of contact for the event?

Everyone who RSVPs will be provided with an information pack and contact phone number via email before the event.
Covid 19 and Staying Safe

It is your personal responsibility to make sure you follow all Covid 19 guidance and measures in place at both the park and issued by the government.

Face Masks are mandatory in all indoor areas of the park, all Indoor/outdoor queues, and on all of the Rides and Attractions. Guests who arrive without a facemask can purchase one on arrival.

You should read and familiarise yourself with all the Covid 19 rules in place at the park. It is extremely important for your safety and the safety of others. taytopark.ie

DO NOT ATTEND THE MEET IF:

You suspect you may have Covid-19.

You are awaiting a test or are an identified close contact.

You feel unwell on the day of the meet.

You have had Covid 19 in the last 14 days.

If in doubt, do not attend. It is better to be safe!
