Our 44th When Furballs Strike furbowl is set for Saturday, Feb. 18! The theme is "Furry Dreamworks" - the animation studio founded 25 years ago by Jeffrey Katzenberg has given us many memorable films/film series over the years including Madagascar, Puss In Boots, How To Train Your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda and of course Bad Guys among others. Let's celebrate these films and enjoy the many themed prizes in the raffle!

FURSUIT CHANGING/GROUP PHOTO

We have a dedicated room for fursuit changing/storage (behind the party room partition). Please be courteous to other attendees and only use this room if you need to, and try to space out usage so it doesn't overcrowd.

The fursuit group photo is taken at 2pm before the lanes turn on for bowling. When setting up for the photo please let shorter fursuiters be in the front, and spread out side-to-side as much as possible since the photo is taken as a panoramic.

PRICING/REGISTRATION

$11 Base Reg - Bowling, shoe rental, 1 raffle ticket

$15 Sponsor Special - Bowling, shoe rental, 5 raffle tickets, 1 FurLife decal

$20 SuperSponsor - Bowling, shoe rental, 15 raffle tickets, 1 FurLife Decal, extra Supersponsor (SS) raffle ticket to win special prizes, and the SS gifts - A WFS/FurLife logo magnet & the first 50 pre-registered SS get a limited edition WFS logo cork coaster!

Each registration comes with 2 games of bowling. To pre-reg, send your payment here via Paypal using the "Family & Friends" option: paypal.me

Include in the Notes section your FurLife username or what name you want on the bowling score screen. We will be assigning 5 bowlers per lane.

IMPORTANT: If you would like to bowl in a group, please make sure ALL members pre-reg (put in the notes section who you want to bowl with) or check in together in-person.

If you pre-reg, there will be a separate, much faster-moving line for where you check in, pick up your raffle tickets and lane assignment. You may buy extra tickets at that time as well. Pre-Reg closes at NOON on Feb. 17 (day before WFS).

Extra raffle tickets can be purchased during registration for $1 each, or 5 for $4. All raffle ticket sales go towards the prizes for the next meet, and the cost to keep our FurLife site running on Meetup. For on-site registration, Cash or card is accepted. For cards there is a .50 fee per registration through our secure payment processing system.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

11:30am - Party room opens
12:15 - Pre-Reg Check In opens
12:30 - At-event Registration opens
1:45 - Registration closes
2:00 - Fursuit Group Photo (usually in the middle of our assigned lanes, listen for announcement)
2:15 - Bowling starts
4:15 - Bowling ends, last call for ticket sales
4:30 - Awards & Prize Raffle
5:30 - Group Dinner at Super China Buffet Shoreline

PRIZE RAFFLE

As always there will be many amazing prizes for attendees to take home in our prize raffle which takes place after bowling ends (around 4:30).

We accept donations for prizes - they must be cleared before being donated, so PM me or comment below. Donators get 3 free raffle tickets per prize donated (at least $10 in value, in new/like new condition), up to 9 total.

FOOD

Kenmore Lanes has a full restaurant and bar for us to order from at our leisure. Please do not bring in any outside food or drink as this is against Kenmore's house policies. Things like bottled water/sport drinks kept in the party room for our fursuiters is fine and encouraged.

AFTERWARDS

We will be giving out fun awards for high game in “classic” & “fursuit” divisions, then the raffle will begin.

We should be finishing up around 5:15pm. Kenmore Lanes has been a great host for us, so please help clean up after yourselves. Let's try leave the place looking cleaner than when we came in!

WFS GROUP DINNER

We will be returning to Super China Buffet in Shoreline for our post-WFS dinner!

Cost is $25 (all-inclusive) which includes unlimited buffet trips, beverage, tax and gratuity. We rent out the party room which is up the ramp on the left side of the restaurant, everyone must pay in advance at the front counter. Please RSVP on the separate event page here: WFS 44 Group Dinner
